I don't even need to take the test, I'm a good mix of yankee and Upper Midwestern - AND PROUD OF IT!!! You get bonus points if you can tell me what a "bubbler" is...

Well, here's how I ended up:
70% General American English
15% Dixie
10% Yankee
0% for BOTH Midwestern & Upper Midwestern

And yeah, I realize that doesn't add up to 100%, but it's me, so of course it's going to be a bit "off"! (Shut up Ang, I KNOW what your thinking!) :P
I'm just glad that my "southern" score was higher than my Yankee score! Then again, given my parents (one southern belle and one yankee) I guess I can't expect too much, huh?

I've never questioned your loosing your "southern touch" or thought you would become a yankee, just wondered why you still felt the need to LIVE there! :)
You know I love yah!

Niki...What is a "bubbler"?

For some reason "hot tub" is the first thing that came to my mind.
Haha...that's so redneck...

"come on ya'll let's jump in the bubbler"

Nat, a bubbler is a slang term for a water or drinking fountain. Nik just thinks she pulled one over on us. Although I liked your suggestion.
